Hola Occultists, here we go!
So, it looks like there may be a possibility to have my masks shown and sold in a prestigious downtown Art Gallery Store that entertains admirers from around the world and presents up and coming as well as famous (deceased or alive) artists.
The gallery's current exhibition: The Colour of My Dreams -The Surrealist Revolution in Art.
They hold biannual fundraising masquerades, hoity-toity events filled with visual artists, live music, tarantella dancing, arial performers and interactive plays/art installations. People gussy up in cocktails, ball gowns and tuxes to be seen and the gallery supplies masks for every person who hasn't brought their own. Sadly, the people are magnificently attired but their faces are not. For all the gallery has to offer it always seems to fall short when it comes to providing most of their guests with quality disguises.
My hope is to make my creations available to them prior to and during the event so they can fully immerse themselves in the complete mystery and wonder a masquerade ball should possess.
Another avenue I'm seeking to explore is getting a couple of feature, repeat segments on local breakfast television shows. Everything is in the works!
